Situated in one of the hottest spots in Cornwall, between ‘Posh Rock’ and buzzy Polzeath, you’ll find the style-led St Moritz Hotel and its Soho House Cowshed Spa. An art-deco inspired yet contemporary, airy, Miami-style family of buildings, St Moritz is in one of the most idyllic locations, close several beautiful beaches and the magic of the Atlantic ocean.
The gleaming white exterior is reminiscence of a classic ocean liner and it nestles within sculpted, tropical gardens. Within the Wellness building, guests will discover the globally-renowned Soho House Cowshed spa, the only one outside of the desirable membership club’s properties. A long treatment list means guests can explore the complete range of restorative treatments in the stylish cocooning space.
Re-imagining the immersive spa experience, the new St Moritz wellness centre features a swim-out hydro pool, a spacious new steam room, and two large saunas alongside ice fountains and multiple sensory showers. The Life Fitness equipped gym is open all-day and evening and guests can also book into the hotel’s exercise class schedule or arrange private instructors.
Alongside the spa, guests will discover Shorecrest - a large, airy, buzzy, open kitchen restaurant, offering a tempting menu full of fresh, local, seasonal produce with daily breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and dinners, as well as the accompanying champagne bar.
Nestled within the tranquil grounds is a tennis court, an outdoor ping pong table, classic croquet and various giant outdoor games. In winter months the outdoor pool offers invigorating cold water dips whilst in spring and summer, when it is heated, the surrounding terrace, with comfortable loungers and sea views, is brilliant for people-watching, sunbathing and simple, invaluable ‘chill time.’
The St Moritz estate feels like it’s hidden away in its own little world, away from the everyday stresses and strains of reality.
