Every year we seem to win awards, we are 5 Star GOLD according to Visit England, we have featured in the Times, in Home and Antiques and in August 24 you will have found us in COAST magazine. Beautiful South awarded us SILVER in 2023, saying we are one of the best two Self Catering properties in the whole of South England.
Most of our guests are adults (sometimes with their children) covering mutiple generations, celebrating something special, in a very special place, or just gathering for that time with family and friends.
For wheelchair users we offer an adapted "mobility room" downstairs, there are no carpets, & doors are all wide giving the wheelchair user full access to downstairs.
We can accept 1 well behaved dog.
You will never have stayed anywhere like this before!
Laurence and Sharon bought the Art Deco HouseUK in 2015 and have lovingly renovated it, year by year to the splendour that it is now. The total attention to detail with goal of making the house a destination in itself. It is a large house, perfect for 18 people to sit around the massive dining table, perfect for exploring the wonderful gardens, and in the colder months, perfect for just staying indoors and enjoy the splendour.
Sharon has spent her career in the music industry, and Laurence for decades was in the computer (IT) industry, but the Art Deco HouseUK is their labaour of love. When you come and stay, you will be enjoying the home feel, the luxury, the knowledge that you are staying in one of the most unique and special properties in South England, and your will be staying on the UK's own holiday island, the Isle of Wight.
Perched on top of the cliff, looking straight out to sea, yet within a short drive of everything that the Isle of Wight has to offer, from visiting the famous Osborne House which was Queen Victoria's holiday home, then there is Monkey Haven, the Donkey Sanctuary, Carisbrooke Castle and many other attractions.
But did you know, the Isle of Wight is fast becoming one of the UKs top foodie destinations. Many Michelin restaurants can now be found, our favourites include Acquitania (SeaVies), The Hut (Freshwater), Hamborough (Ventnor), Smoking Lobster (Cowes), The Red Lion (Freshwater). And by the way, we sell MAGNUMS of fine wine for the discerning guest, and the wine is another labour of love, just message us for details after booking
