A delightful Georgian gentleman’s residence set in the scenic Killinchy countryside (in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). This house was built in the 1840s and has been restored sympathetically over the last few years. We are within easy reach of main transport links: approximately a 30 minute drive from Belfast City Airport and Belfast Port, and 50 minutes from Belfast International Airport.
We are new to this, having just completed a complete renovation of this Georgian house which has been in our family since the early 1900s. We might be newbies but we are however very excited to welcome guests to this lovely part of Northern Ireland, just a few minutes drive away from the gorgeous Strangford Lough and all that it has to offer with fantastic activities and eateries. We have a working farm but love to spend our downtime walking and cycling in the area as well as kayaking and wild swimming (when we can bear it!) Should you wish we would be very happy to recommend some great places to visit during your stay..
Set in mature gardens and surrounded by beautiful countryside this house is situated within just a few minutes drive from the beautiful Strangford Lough (offering a host of activities) and the many excellent eateries in the area - Balloo House (Michelin Bib Gourmand), Daft Eddies, Poacher’s Pocket Picnic, Smuggler's Table and the Old Post Office.
