Spacious and full of light, Ashworth House is an unassuming Cotswold gem. Tucked away in the village of Leafield near bustling Burford this modern home is full of surprises. With spectacular far-reaching views from the garden and oodles of space inside, Ashworth House has it all. The breath taking open plan kitchen has a large dining area and there are two sitting rooms with wood burning stoves making this a comfortable and homely place to stay. Bedrooms full of personality are spread across the first and second floor to ensure every guest gets the best sleep possible. Ashworth House is so much more than initially meets the eye and you are near popular hotspots including Burford, Chipping Norton, Blenheim Palace and Soho Farmhouse is less than a 30 minute drive. Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. One well-behaved dog is welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. Unfortunately, this property does not permit hen and stag parties, party groups, or all adult groups under the age of 25. This property is ideal for family groups. There are a number of internal steps and some staircases do not have a handrail, as such this property may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. There is an open pond in the garden, children and pets must be supervised. There is CCTV recording the external areas of the property including the main driveway and garden. A security deposit is required.

The quaint village of Leafield began as a clearing in Wychwood Forest and got its name from the French for ‘the field’. With a village church, pub and shop set around the central greens it is a typically Cotswold location. Nearby Witney is a vibrant market town with a thriving local community, range of independent shops, restaurants and boutiques. Visit Blenheim Palace, Oxford, Burford or simply enjoy beautiful country walks from the doorstep of your bolthole retreat.
