The bedrooms consists of two doubles with Smart TV, and a twin with Smart TV serviced by a bathroom, and a cloakroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio, furniture, hot tub and off-road parking for 2 cars. Within 0.1 miles, you will find a shop and pub. Please note that this is a non-smoking property. One well-behaved pet welcome. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. 37a Hood Street is a delightful retreat in the hear of St John's Chapel. Please Note: Property only accepts check ins on a Monday or Friday.

Neighbourhood information

This quaint County Durham village sits in Weardale in the heart of the North Pennines AONB, an area known for its excellent bird watching, cycling and walking. As well as two friendly village pubs, one serving food, St John's Chapel offers a Post Office, a shop and a couple of cafés. The nearby market town of Stanhope sits on the fringes of the AONB and offers a wider choice of amenities and an outdoor pool. The magnificent city of Durham is slightly further afield but well worth a visit, laced with tremendous architecture and much to see and do.
