Lovely, modern and well-equipped 3 bedroom detached bungalow in small and quiet cul-de-sac with woodland outlooks . Living/dining room, separate kitchen, one king size, one double and one twin bedroom, bathroom with bath and electric shower over bath and additional separate WC. Private driveway with parking for 2-3 cars. Wi-fi and electricity are included in the price. Lockable storage shed. Pets are welcome at no extra charge so long as you clean up pet hairs, please.

The front facing living/dining room has a smart TV, DVD player, wall hung electric fire, storage heater, 2 three-seater leather sofas, extendable dining table and 6 dining chairs. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets, panel heaters and electric blankets during colder months. The kitchen has oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine. The bathroom has a curved bath with electric shower over, wash basin and WC. There is a separate WC with washbasin off the front hall.
We supply some rolls of loo paper, kitchen towel and cleaning supplies including scourers, cloths, dishwasher tablets and washing capsules.
Our garage is not available for use by guests, but there is a 7x5 shed in which you will find some loungers. You can also use it to store things like bikes at your own risk. While crime in the area is unusual we strongly recommend you secure your bikes in addition to padlocking the shed.
The small back garden has 2 picnic tables and several mature trees and it backs onto woodland. Access is by a path between the garage and the house and there is no gate, so please keep an eye on kids and dogs. The local area is great for dog walking with lots of woodland walks. Look out for the roe deer, pheasants, woodpeckers and many other birds and even the occasional red squirrel.

Most of the time we operate on the basis of 4 night minimum stays. Prices are reduced for stays of 5 nights or more.
March 2025 update: we are almost fully booked now until the start of September, with just a few dates remaining in late June. Very many thanks to all guests for your bookings. All our remaining dates up to Christmas 2025 have now been released unless there are any cancellations. Dates up to April 2026 will be released in November this year and dates from April through summer 2026 will be released at the end of January 2026. Spey Valley Golf and Country Club is a few minutes walk away. It has a bar and restaurant open to everyone and children are allowed in both. Spey Valley Golf Course, a supermarket and take-aways are within 10 minutes walk, just off Dalfaber Drive. Aviemore village centre with its shops, restaurants, bars and the Strathspey Steam Railway is about 20 minutes walk. If you are walking or cycling from the house to the village centre, use the Dalfaber Road route. It is a no through road for vehicles at our end but is well used by walkers and cyclists to get the village centre. You can access the road from the far end of the Silverglades housing estate at the bottom of Craggan More Road. The road runs alongside the steam railway line. Turn right at the tunnel with the stream running through it and up the steps beside the Vault nightclub and you are in the main part of the village. Check out this walking/cycling route on google maps. It takes about 10 minutes longer to walk to the village using the main vehicle access route!
