The lounge is spacious with large windows to enjoy the surrounding views, and patio doors opening at the front of the property (again one step over the threshold). There's three sofas so plenty of room for relaxing; one of the sofas converts into a double bed if required (5 GBP per night payable for use of the sofa bed, to include linen). The shower room comprises a spacious cubicle with just one step into it, plus toilet and hand basin. The bedroom is at the far end of the hall, with king-sized bed, comfortable chair plus plenty of drawers and hanging space.

Neighbourhood information

Backwoods Annexe sits at the foot of Grabbist hill, with direct access walking up on the hill from the property, which is part of the Exmoor National Park. If walking is your passion, Exmoor is a great place to be - with it's magnificent views, wildlife and cosy pubs, the town is also the starting point of the South West Coastal Path, the UKs longest distance countryside trail. Minehead is also the terminus for West Somerset Steam Railway, the longest heritage railway in Britain. Minehead is a lovely seaside town, it's approximately 1.5 miles to the beach from Backwoods Annexe. There's a handful of supermarkets in the town, plus a range of independent cafes, shops, restaurants and take-aways
