Please don't be put off by the lack of reviews! All our bookings have come through AirBnB and we have lots of really good reviews on that website if you want to check us out! This property is ideally suited to a large family holiday or two smaller families to share. Having four bedrooms and five beds, this property has flexible sleeping options. Three of the bedrooms have king sized beds and one bedroom has a double with single bunk on top. All of the bedrooms have either a wardrobe or a chest of drawers. Three of the bedrooms are located on the first floor and share the family bathroom. One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor and has French doors that open up onto the patio area. This bedroom is also located next to the downstairs WC and shower room which has a dedicated mains pressure shower. For this reason, this bedroom would be ideal for any members of the group who are less mobile. The views from the two rear bedrooms need to be seen to be appreciated, and the beds are arranged to maximize this experience. The dual aspect kitchen-diner is light and spacious and has a large American fridge/freezer that will hold a big shop, a full size dishwasher, an electric oven, gas hob and all of the usual equipment that one would expect to find in their kitchen at home. The lounge is also dual aspect and offers the same fantastic views as the kitchen does, with French doors opening up onto the patio area. There is a comfortable two seater and three seater sofa in the lounge alongside a 'smart' TV and X Box, with two controllers. There are two SONOS speakers that can be used to play music over the WIFI. The patio area has outdoor low level soft seating for 4 as well as an extending outdoor table that can sit 8. There is a Webber Master Touch for the BBQ fans. The rear garden is safe and secure and has a 10ft netted trampoline and plenty of space for children to play. The utility room houses a washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, as well as the boiler.

We both like to travel for long weekends and school holidays and we want to give guests the opportunity to come and experience the area where we live. Westward Ho! village and beach is within an easy 0.7 mile walk. Westward Ho! has a two mile long safe and sandy beach that adjoins the Northam Burrows Country Park and the Royal North Devon Golf Club. In addition there are an excellent range of amenities including pubs, cafes, free to use tennis courts, horse riding stables, crazy golf, go karting, arcades, play areas, a Tesco Metro and a diverse range of places to eat and drink. The South West Coast Path, which affords walks with stunning vistas of the rugged North Devon coastline is also within easy reach on foot or cycling. The nearby village of Appledore has a range of amenities including a public slipway, cafes, restaurants, Post Office/ delicatessen, galleries and pubs. It’s also a great spot for crabbing and quay jumping at high tide. The larger port and market town of Bideford is located just over 2 miles away and sits on the banks of the River Torridge and has a wider range of amenities. There are a number of visitor attractions within a short drive of the house for all weather. The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, the Ultimate Adventure Centre, Air Extreme, to name a few.
