Dawlish Warren Holidays consists of four 2 bedroom chalets - Beaches, Sunny View, The Cove and Driftwood. They are located on the 4-star Welcome Holiday Park in Dawlish Warren. Guests are invited to use the Holiday Park's indoor swimming pools, bar, restaurant and evening entertainment, which are available from Easter until the end of October each year, for a surcharge. Offering free WiFi, each chalet consists of an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. The living room has a flat-screen smart TV. The kitchen contains a full-size oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge with ice box and is fully equipped for up to four guests. There is one double bedroom with a flat-screen TV and DVD player, and one twin bedroom. Each chalet has an outside seating area. The bungalow offers free parking. The chalets are a 500 metre flat walk from the European Blue Flag awarded beach and 300 metre flat walk to Dawlish Warren railway station. There are shops, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants within a short walk of the chalets. The nearest airports are Exeter Airport, which is 14 miles away, Bristol Airport, which is 75 miles away, or Newquay, 92 miles away.

Company information

Between us, we have many years experience of working in the hospitality industry. We have worked in a variety of Hotels and Guest Houses, from Country House Inns, to Grand London Hotels and busy Airport Hotels, owned a hotel in Cornwall, and worked in retail and catering. Originally from Manchester and London, we have now settled in Teignmouth, just down the coast from Dawlish Warren. Our families live as far afield as Cornwall, Nottingham and Sussex and our grandchildren love spending time in Dawlish Warren when they come to visit – you can see some of them in several of the photos! We have owned several holiday homes in Dawlish Warren for the last few years and are delighted to have acquired Hillside at the Golden Sands Holiday Park in November 2018. We want you to enjoy your stay with us and we will do everything we can to make it as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

Property information

Each chalet has two bedrooms, a double and a twin and a bathroom with either a walk-in shower cubicle or a full-size bath with overhead shower. There is an open-plan living, dining area and fully-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Each chalet has its own private terrace with a wooden picnic bench and parasol. For the colder months of the year, they are fully heated throughout making them warm and cosy. Please note that the facilities at the Welcome Holiday Park may be subject to restrictions for private owners such as ourselves. If you would like the latest information before booking, please send us a message. As soon as you make a booking you will be sent the latest information that we have received. We provide all bed linen and bath towels and the beds are made up ready for your arrival. Please note that we do not accept pets.

Neighbourhood information

Dawlish Warren has something to offer everyone, with its National Nature Reserve, 18 Hole Golf Course and award-winning beach. There are excellent walking and cycle trails, cycle hire and a good selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants, takeaways and shops. There is mini golf, grand prix go-karts as well as amusements, rides and a large, grassed play area. The Nature Reserve is a special site of scientific interest and the second most important site for wildlife in the county, after Dartmoor. It is made up of over 500 acres of sand dunes, grassland, mudflats, salt marsh, wet meadows, woodland and freshwater ponds. The long sandy beach is a 10 minute walk from The Welcome. It has been awarded the Blue Flag award for over 20 years. Experienced RNLI Lifeguards are on duty between May and September. Golfers can enjoy the 18 hole golf course which welcomes visitors with its “turn up and play” system and is open all year. Dawlish Warren is the ideal base from which to visit and explore the rest of Devon from the Exe Estuary, to the Teign Valley and Torbay in the south, the Jurassic coast to the east, Dartmoor to the west and the historic city of Exeter to the north.
