This charming getaway is ideal for a romantic escape, offering an array of scenic walks right on your doorstep.

The grounds in which the Stables are located in belong to the Raymond family who have occupied Belchamp Hall since the early 17th Century. Belchamp Hall (or Felsham Hall as it was known in the TV series), is widely known for being the home of the BBC hit series 'Lovejoy'. The hall and extensive grounds have far reaching views of the surrounding countryside, as well as the Belchamp Walter Church of St Mary.
Belchamp Walter is set within the Wool Towns region of Suffolk, a region of best-preserved historic towns and pretty villages built from when the wool trade was at its peak. The wool towns of Lavenham, Sudbury and Long Melford are all close by and worth exploring. Keen Harry Potter fans might recognise the streets of Lavenham which were used as the backdrop for the scenes in Godric's Hollow. Lavenham has over 300 listed buildings including The Guildhall and Little Hall. The mediaeval town boasts an eclectic mix of independent boutiques, galleries and chic hotels, as well as number of cafes and restaurants, The Great House serves award-winning French cuisine, perfect for a celebratory supper. On warmer days, why not grab yourself a scoop of ice-cream from the Parlour.
Whilst the property is ideally located for exploring the Wool Towns, it is just over one hours drive from the impressive and popular Suffolk Coast.
