Bellwether is a detached shepherd’s hut situated on the outskirts of the market town of Helmsley. This open-plan, studio-style property houses a double bed, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen, sleeping up to two people. The interior is completed by a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside, there is off-road parking for two cars and a garden with a lawn and table and chairs. Helmsley is a market town situated at the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park and houses a number of houses, hotels and shops. Within the town you will also find a 12th-century castle and English Heritage’s Rievaulx Abbey and Castle Howard are close by. Within the surrounding area you will find superb walks with Cleveland Way starting in Helmsley.
