Situated in the heart of the Highlands - a short walk from Neptunes Staircase and nestled below Scotlands highest mountain - Ben Nevis. Superb location for mountain biking, exploring, walking, climbing, skiing and all outdoor activities. Extremely relaxing retreat only 10 mins drive from the town centre or train station nearby.
Hi - I'm Joanne - a Scot married to a Welshman who co-hosts along with me! We love the Highlands as much as we love to travel and explore new cultures.
We decided to try hosting after building our new home at the end of 2018, and to this end we would love to welcome you to the Highlands of Scotland so please get in touch if you have any questions.
We both work but will be on hand for any needs you may have. You can gain access through our secure key pad entry system and unless you need us we can leave you to your own devices. Please do let us know if you have any questions but we have left you a concise information booklet.
Banavie is a very quiet and popular area of Fort William, within short walking distance of Neptunes Staircase on the Caledonian Canal and the Great Glen Way. There are a couple of local eating places within walking distance, or we can offer a lift or organise a taxi for you if you don't have a car!
You will ideally need the use of a car whilst staying in our home. There is a dedicated parking space for guests.
Banavie train station and local bus stop is a 20 minute walk
