You will be staying in our home; which is comfy, warm, clean and tastefully decorated.
I am a retired International Mental Health professional who has lived abroad much of my life in Europe, Africa and Asia. My partner Joanne is a (Geordie!) Church of England hospital Chaplain. We both enjoy meeting people, travelling, exploring different cultures, our allotment and food!
We're a ten minute walk from the bus and railway station, town centre and supermarket; plus fifteen minutes from stunning Auckland Palace - the Bishop of Durham's country retreat. There's the fabulous summer pageant Kynren in town; with Durham City, Teasdale, Weardale, the Pennines and the beautiful County Durham and Northumbrian Coast with miles of baches and lovely walks reasonably close by.
