Bishop Percy's House is a magnificent 16th century Grade 1 listed building situated by the river in the Low Town area of Bridgnorth and a short uphill walk into the town centre. It has just undergone a 4 1/2 year renovation and now provides 2 superb, large fully equiped, self catering apartments on the first and secoind floors, with great river views and a tea rooms on the ground floor where breakfast, light lunches and afternoon teas are served daily between 10.00 and 16.00.
Both apartments sleep 4 people; apartment 1 in 2 bedrooms and apartment 2 in 1 bedroom with a sofa bed in the lounge area. They are available to rent together, for larger groups. or individually as required.
Access to each apartment is via a large, old, timbered spiral staircase which might be unsuitable for anyone with reduced mobility.
During the restoration all of the remaining original features were retained although some were sadly lost many years ago during previous ownerships.
We truly hope you will come and enjoy the experience of staying in a piece of English history.
