Company information

Carolyn and Clive bought Bittles Brook Farm in 2010 and have spent the following years working to turn the farm into a biodiverse wildlife haven for nature lovers to enjoy. We have seen an abundance of species over the years including rare otters and polecats as well as our regular visitors; badgers, bats, woodpeckers, deer and foxes. We built our first tents in 2017 and have enjoyed meeting new guests every year since and welcoming them to our slice of rural heaven. We are more than happy to answer any questions that you may have about our accommodation, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Property information

Black Pig Retreats offers luxurious holiday Glamping in the beautiful Dorset countryside. We have three large safari tents suitable for families as well a gorgeous straw bothy and beautiful yurt which are ideal for couples. Each property has a large deck and private fire-pit, perfect for Summer evenings! Please contact us for further information about accessibility and facilities as these do vary slightly depending on which property you book. Located at Bittles Brook Farm with lovely walks, a stream and woods to explore as well as plenty of local visitor attractions. We have sheep, chickens, horses, dogs and of course our pigs!

Neighbourhood information

There is lots of space for children and dogs to run around and our safari tents enjoy lovely views across the Blackmore Vale. Longleat is only 40 mins away and the coast at Lulworth one hour. If you drive past Stonehenge on your way here, you will be half an hour away, make a detour through the Fonthill Estate and you will spot one of our favourite pubs, The Beckford Arms. Our village boasts a lovely shop and family pub, The Coppleridge, which are walking distance.
