"Bobbie's Bothy" is a 170 year old traditional stone built cottage which has undergone renovation in recent years. It is situated in the mature country setting of Co. Antrim and in keeping with the area, features low ceilings, deep window sills, a log burner fire of a bygone era and is presented to you along a Scottish & Irish theme as inspired by Karen, your host. We want you to relax, wind down and recharge in a quiet setting and enjoy this cosy and homely sanctuary. Guests & Pets We're happy to host your furry friends. Please let us know in advance if you'll be bringing a dog. For everyone's comfort pets must stay off the furniture, may not be left unattended inside the home,and a small pet fee may apply .. We love hosting and want everyone to enjoy their stay.. please note that only registered guests are allowed on the property and we kindly ask that you confirm in advance if you plan to bring children .. This helps us prepare the Bothy properly and keep everyone safe and comfortable. Care & Respect for the Bothy. We've set up the Bothy to be cozy and comfortable for your stay and we kindly ask that everything (furnishings,throws linens and decor) remain in the Bothy for all guests to enjoy.We also appreciate it when guests leave the Bothy tidy- extra cleaning may be needed if food or spills are left behind ..

Hi, I'm Karen. Originally from Scotland and now living in Co. Antrim with my partner Roy. We live right next door to the Bothy and have taken great care to bring you a home from home experience which we hope you take lasting memories away to reminisce upon in your quiet moments. We enjoy motorcycling, country walks, cooking and relaxing. We welcome our friends from the biking community and we accommodate for the essentials of motorcycling - a double garage for safe dry storage, a warm cupboard for drying rain soaked helmets and clothing, tools for those little repair jobs which suddenly appear whilst touring including front and rear axle stands and maintenance equipment such as chain cleaning products to keep your bike in tip top condition and set up for the road ahead, after a comfortable and relaxing restful sleep.

The cottage is situated in a small nook in Co. Antrim with surrounding farmland, farm animals, horses and a shopping mall within 3 miles on the edge of Antrim town. Randalstown has just won the Best Kept Town award for 2024, and has won various other awards over the years. The "Elevation Bridge" upon entry into Randalstown, was designed as a Royal Horticultural Society community garden and stands proudly over the gently tumbling River Maine which flows into Lough Neagh on it's north shore a little over 1 mile away. It opened 2 years ago on the former railway viaduct. Randalstown tells its history through the Heritage Tales project which has placed bronze plaques around the town giving a brief introduction to the town's history and heritage. The town is kept beautiful by the Tidy Randalstown volunteers and it's right on our doorstep!
