Bolthole Retreats was founded in 2017 by Martin McWilliam and is based in Cheltenham.
We are the leading independent agency for Cotswold holiday rental properties. We work closely with owners and housekeepers to ensure that guests have a truly memorable stay.

Located in the popular Cotswold town of Winchcombe, this beautifully renovated, 18th century, three-storey terrace cottage, sleeps up to seven guests in four bedrooms, including one king-size, two twins (one in a garden annex) and one single, with three bathrooms (1 family bathroom, 1 family shower room, 1 ensuite shower room, plus a downstairs W.C.). Outside are two patio areas and a Mediterranean-style garden, with table, chairs and a BBQ, which leads to the ensuite annex.

Sudeley Castle and Gardens: A booking made for this property entitles you to free admission to Sudeley Castle and Gardens, as many times as you wish during your stay. This includes general admission, during the open season, but does not include entry to special events. To check if the Castle and Gardens are open for your dates, or to book a ticket for a special event, please refer to the Sudeley Castle website.
2 well-behaved dogs are welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog and you will be sent a request for the additional fee.

Winchcombe is an elegant and timeless Cotswold town with a host of amenities, making it perfectly possible to stay at 14 Vineyard without the need to use a car. Venture down the narrow side streets to find a mix of Cotswold stone cottages and black and white half-timbered buildings. The town is a famous centre for walkers, with Winchcombe Welcome Walkers an important part of the town’s appeal, alongside the magnificent Sudeley Castle. The town has several traditional pubs and contemporary restaurants and cafes; art galleries; boutique clothing stores and interior design and antique shops – in fact something to please everyone.
