Bonnie Taigh ( Flat 4 Struan House) is a self catering, one bedroomed apartment in the centre of Pitlochry with free private 24 hour parking.
Bonnie Taigh is Scottish themed apartment in a Victorian styled building. It is a homely, cosy and has been recently freshly decorated. It offers beautiful and peaceful views from the living room window.
The apartment is on the first floor and accessed via one set of stairs, the private parking is at the rear of the building .
There is a bed settee in the living room. There is free superfast WIFI, gas central heating, fully fitted kitchen, bath and shower. There is a dinning table in the main living room this can be used as a desk also.
The property is non smoking. Bed linen and towels are featured in the apartment. The apartment offers fully equipped kitchen for self catering. Including fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher and washer dryer. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, biscuits, treats, cleaning products and kitchen/toilet roll is provided. As well as complementary toiletries.
Your dog is welcomed at no extra cost but no young pups please ( max one/two dog at request). Your dogs cant be left alone in the apartment for long periods. Pitlochry is a dog friendly town. There are plenty hotels, cafes and restaurants that allow your dog(s) to come along with you. Bonnie Taigh is surrounded by lovely walks for you and your dog(s) to enjoy.
Guest can enjoy just a short stroll to all restaurants, cafes, pubs, theatre and numerous outdoor activities. Including hillwalking, cycling, golf and fishing. Bonnie Taigh is minutes walk from the bus that leaves for the Enchanted Forest.
It central can easily accessed by car from A9, minutes walk from the main bus station and approx 6 min walk from the train station. Bonnie Taigh an excellent central base for all that Pitlochry has to offer and for those who choose to travel wider afield around the spectacular Scottish highlands.
I am Scottish and originally from just outside Glasgow. I am a local and have lived in Pitlochry for many years. I enjoy travelling and have been to many countries around the world. My heart has always been in Pitlochry, since I was a young child. Hence the reason I have wanted to host here and contribute to guests enjoying their stay, in this stunning town. As someone who has travelled and stayed various accommodation I know what is important to guests. I enjoy sharing local information, places to visit and things to do for all ages.
I like walking and taking photographs of the lovely scenery in Scotland, particularly around Pitlochry and surrounding areas. Some of theses photos are displayed in the apartment. Pitlochry is a stunning quaint Victorian town situated in the heart of Scotland. There is plenty to do in the area including outdoor activities, scenery, theatre, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Bonnie Taigh is central to theses. Pitlochry Dam and fish ladder is a main feature of the town, its surrounded by spectacular views of the hills and loch Faskally. There is an excellent circular walk from the town centre.
A trek up Ben Vrackie is highly recommended for beautiful views of the hills, scenery and town. There easier walks and different grades around Pitlochry to suit all ages. The Enchanted Forest at Loch Dunmore (light music show) is well worth a visit, this is for all ages . Enchanted Forest runs throughout October -check out the website. Loch Dunmore is also beautiful to walk during the day and at all times of year . This is situated just over a mile from the apartment.
Blair Athol estate and castle is (approx 7 mile from the apartment) is lovely day out. If you like shopping the House of Bruar is and worth a visit. The Falls of Bruar are beautiful, this is a circular walk beside the House of Bruar. There are stunning views and waterfalls. Be careful this can be very steep.
