Myself Dave, and my wife Andrea, have many happy memories of holidays and short breaks enjoyed at the Lincolnshire coast, and now having a B&B of our own, enables us to help you do the same. We have high standards, and take great pride in everything we do, so we'll offer you a warm and friendly welcome, and do our best to ensure you enjoy a relaxing stay within a clean and comfortable environment. With our knowledge of the area, and having tried many of it's restaurants, we'll be only too happy to recommend places to go or eat, or even travel information.

The Brackenhurst, is a traditional Victorian property, believed to have been built around 1910, which had been an established, small, family run guest house for many years, when we purchased it in September 2019. Our aim has always been to offer quality over quantity, so we offer a selection of room types, of varying sizes, all individually, and tastefully decorated with coordinating colour themes, and fully en-suite. Each room has been designed to cater for different guest requirements and budgets, to ensure you enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay, with several improvements for 2025. We have a guest garden area, with seating, and a variety of plants, flowers, even a water feature, a perfect space in which to relax. In 2023, we added a guest day lounge with 40" TV, DVD player, games, books, and DVDs to enjoy. If you opt for our breakfast, you'll love the experience of eating within our spacious beach themed dining area, as much as the food. Don't forget to take a look at our retro & vintage museum, an ever expanding collection of items spanning the 60s - 00s, anything from an original 'Woody' Atari 2600 console to Green Shield stamps. We're ideally situated in a quieter part of the town, in a residential road, within easy 5-10 minute walking distance of the beach, town centre shops, theatre and seafront attractions, not to mention all of the bars and restaurants, and a handy convenience store. If you prefer something more relaxing, there are the many beautiful garden areas, boating lake, and Gibraltar Point nature reserve provides a pleasant 3-4 mile coastal walk.
