Straddling the two beautiful counties of Herefordshire and Shropshire, Broomers Barn is a beautifully appointed single-storey, wooden-clad barn located in a very pretty and peaceful setting, with uninterrupted views over the surrounding countryside. A perfect romantic retreat, situated at the south end of the village of Richard’s Castle, approximately 3 miles from the gastronomic centre of Ludlow.

For something creative, book a session at the owner's floral design workshop where guests can discover bespoke courses for making unique dried floral creations, such as wreaths and swags, which have a low environmental impact. Participants are fuelled by homemade, locally-sourced food and encouraged to focus on having fun and enjoying the mindful experience of being creative.
Ludlow boasts a busy calendar of festivals and concerts throughout the year. Of particular note are the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival, the Ludlow Medieval Christmas Fayre and the Hay Festival.
Enjoy a day out and visit Ludlow Castle, Croft Castle and Stokesay Castle to marvel at the local history.
Visit the stunning Berrington Hall, a beautiful country house sitting in Capability Brown landscaped parkland as part of the National Trust.
Hidden gems include the many English Heritage sites, such as Wigmore Castle and Witley Court and Gardens.
Enjoy a picnic at the Ludlow Millenium Green, well worth a visit to just sit and relax and feed the ever hungry ducks swimming by.
For an exciting day out, visit Ludlow Races, a small friendly National Hunt racecourse just 2 miles north of Ludlow.
Within a short driving distance, other places to explore include Ironbridge Gorge Museums and The Severn Valley Railway.
