Burraton Cob is set within several acres of grounds in the Devon countryside, this cottage is perfect for a peaceful getaway for two.
The cottage is light and open plan but provides a private cosy feel. The downstairs consists of a entrance hall, shower room and kitchen lounge and dining area. Upstairs is the large bedroom which also has an additional sofa, TV and desk for those who need to work from holiday. The upstairs windows provide good views of the surrounding countryside and grounds in both directions
The grounds are occupied by various wildlife and free range ducks and bees tended by the hosts who live on site in the next door cottage with their two friendly golden retriever dogs.
It is possible to walk cross country to the nearby National Trust Ashclyst Forest which can be seen from the upper floor of the cottage.
Situated just six miles from the cathedral City of Exeter with its array of shops, café’s, restaurants and bars. Also a short drive away from the great beaches at Sidmouth, Branscombe and Exmouth and for those wishing to explore further, the Jurassic Coast
We have lived here for over 20 years. The only thing we regret is that we couldn’t afford to do it before 😎
Our neighbours are a variety of very friendly humans and numerous wildlife species from owls to roe deer numerous sizes between.. all very wild but friendly
