    Location - quiet but accessible. Family friendly including a play house and big garden. Homely feel with all ages books, maps and games. Log fire with plenty of wood. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely bathrooms and bedrooms. Would go back.

Elegant traditional Lakeland semi detached house set in seven acres of well maintained grounds in a stunning elevated location above Skelwith Bridge. It boasts possibly the finest views of the Langdale Pikes and Valley from the lounge, master bedroom and grounds. Deer, badger and red squirrels have been spotted in the grounds by previous guests. The house has elegance and charm and is perfectly suited to guests of all ages. It is located a short walk or drive to the bustling town of Ambleside, noted for its variety of eateries, gift shops, walking shops, grocery shops and even three cinemas. Three good sized bedrooms, one on the ground floor, offer flexible accommodation for a family or two couples. A well-equipped, modern kitchen enables guests to get the very best from their self-catering holiday. Ample parking for up to three cars. Damage deposit required.

Within easy reach is the stunning Langdale Valley with its numerous walks, pubs and stunning scenery. Ambleside, Grasmere are within 5 miles and England's largest lake is also on the doorstep. A perfect location in all weathers and open throughout the year.
