I love how it is small enough to explore on foot and how it has something for everyone. This is a quiet & peaceful residential street, and as such (in my opinion) is the quietest residential street you can live on without actually being in the City Centre. It is very close to the High Street/City Centre, the major attractions of the Canterbury Cathedral/Marlowe Theatre/Westgate Gardens, convenience stores, ATM machines and supermarkets. Grove Cottage is a 800 sq. ft., Victorian Terrace in a row of Victorian terraces. These date back to the early 20th century and fall within Canterbury's conservation zone due to the historical character of the area and the proximity to the UNESCO world heritage sites. The property has been respectfully and updated whilst being lovingly preserved.
