Coach House at Oaks Barn Farm used for filming of Come Dine With Me, it combines robust eco-friendly principles with stylish accommodation, which is unique & surprisingly spacious. It has a large fully enclosed garden with its very own Salt water hot tub which can be hired for the duration of your stay. Sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 double bedrooms. An additional person can be accommodated with prior consent. Sitting in a beautiful rural location just ten minutes from historic Stratford-Upon-Avon, and a few minutes from Ragley Hall this welcoming holiday home is an excellent base for exploring many fantastic attractions in and around the area.
Oaks Barn Farm is a small working farm and children can meet sheep, pigs and chickens, and even feed the lambs depending on the time of year. Wayne and Sue along with their two dogs live on site so are on hand to give assistance and advice on the best places to visit and local places to eat as well as introducing you to the animals. There are additional on-site activities available such as Air Rifle shooting&Coaching, Axe throwing, Pizza experience additional charges apply. All are provided by Sue & Wayne. The area of Stratford-Upon-Avon is one of those most wonderful places where you can see Shakespeare birth place & New Place where he lived for the last 20years of his life. Charlecote Manor or Mary Arden’s farm, where Shakespeare’s mother was born are only a short drive away. Oh & don’t forget the Butterfly farm. Warwickshire has so much to offer than just Stratford-Upon-Avon. Once you have exhausted the many shops in the town centre & also at the near by Maybird shopping centre and places to eat and drink, escape to the countryside. There are numerous marked footpaths and cycling trails nearby, including the 5mile Stratford Greenway which follows a disused railway line between Stratford-Upon-Avon and Long Marston. Alcester is an interesting Roman town. Worcester is only 20ish minutes away, the Cotswolds, Broadway, Boughton on the Water & Slaughter villages are close by. The NEC & National Indoor Arena have fabulous selection of shows & exhibitions which are easily to reach. Oaks Barn Farm is centrally located & is a great half way point for people travelling from the north and south.
