Quiet and peaceful, short walk to the village shop and pub and less than an hour's walk into Porthleven. Very clean and well presented room, surprisingly spacious. Comfy bed and nice not to have a TV.

I have given a neutral for staff as we had no contact with any. This is ideal for walkers and cyclists, the property is compact but has everything you need and has been well thought out. The local pub we tried ( Queens Arms) was really good too.

Beautiful location and just right for us to visit a mate up the road. 2 walkable pubs - both with food - one easier by virtue of better footpaths. Right next to a garden centre with a cafe that does some OK food. Kitchen had everything we...

Apple Tree Barn is a conversion of what is rumoured to be one of the oldest buildings in Breage. Your space results from years of planning and building work to turn the derelict farm yard into homes. There are now three converted homes in this cosy courtyard, and your accommodation is an annex of one. Your private room has dedicate parking and entrance. The spacious accommodation has an en-suite, small kitchenette and patio which has beautiful sunrise views over the agricultural fields and garden (breakfast and lunch on the patio are lovely!). The drive and courtyard parking is shared with the neighbours. The surrounding farmland has been in our family for generations, farmed by our great-great grandparents through to the present day by my parents. Pigs and cows used to graze here but today we keep it in meadow, the view from your dedicated patio area spans some of the fields across to Breage village and the church. Local walks are literally on your doorstep, beaches are less than two miles and the bus stop a short walk into the village of Breage.
I am not at the barn (Apple Tree) all the time as I work away but I've hosted guests for many years and love welcoming people to Cornwall, offering personal recommendations and generally talking to guests if I happen to be around when you are. I love gardening and green laning on my motorbike Gertrude, although both are sadly neglected these days as I prioritise spending time with my baby son.
Apple Tree Barn is a great base to explore the south west of Cornwall and the Coast Path. There are plenty of footpaths around the local area but for those wishing to travel further afield, the bus is in easy walking distance and we're based next to the main road towards Penzance and Helston which makes for easy travel across the county. Trevena Cross Garden Centre and the Palm Tree Bistro are literally next door. We are just a few minutes walk to Breage where you will find a historic church, village shop and the Queens Arms pub. Porthleven with beach, historic harbour and many fine restaurants is five minutes drive.
