Converted stables are 2 beautifully decorated and modern studio apartment,s based in a lovely quiet area just outside of York City centre. These lovely apartments have the convenience of being located in a quiet, freindly village while still having a direct bus route in York city centre , the bus stop is located within a mintues walk at the end of the drive way. This cozy apartment has an extremly comfortable King Size bed, it also has a single bed, sleeping 3-4 guests, all beds are of an excellent hotel quality. In the rooms you will find a lovely little kitchenette with a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. There is an ensuite with a walk in shower in the apartments. There is also a luxury Roll top bath in the centre of one of our room at the end of the King Size bed. The other has a lovely log burner as the main focus point of the room, located opposite the sofa. Perfect for the winter nights! Both rooms provide luxury features to relax and enjoy after a long day exploring in York! The property offers lots of parking right outside of the apartment on a large gravel drive, it also has a lovely large garden space to enjoy in the summer months.

Neighbourhood information

A satellite village to the north of York, Strensall / earswick offers excellent commuter links and bus links into the historic city centre. This friendly village has good amenities including pubs, shops, a hairdressers, a bakery and a fish and chip shop, and there is also a village park and a superb golf course, with other alternatives close by. Just outside the village, the Strensall Common Nature Reserve is a conservation area with heathland and a wonderful array of wildlife, including birds, common lizards and adders. The surrounding countryside offers good walking and cycling opportunities, with picturesque cycle routes leading along the riverside path into the very heart of York. Hop in the car and venture into the North York Moors National Park to explore Dalby Forest, a beautiful setting for a family day out woven with walking and bike trails and a Go Ape centre! An easy drive away

Please note that smoking is strictly prohibited at the property and any guests found to be ignoring this rule may be charged GBP 250 plus additional costs to cover cleaning/damage costs.

If guests lose keys during their stay they will be charged a call out fee of GBP 60 to provide keys. If the call is made after 21:00 then no keys can be delivered and guests will need to find alternative accommodation for the night at a cost to themselves.

Please note 1 small dog is only allowed in the Studio Apartment Room 2 for an extra charge of GBP 15.
