Located 3 miles from the city centre, this 1st floor apartment is located in a quiet residential area and is perfect for couples / small families and guests working away, needing a clean and comfortable place to stay for their trip. Not only is this apartment a great base for anyone looking for a base to see Derry /Donegal or surrounding area's, but a taxi to city centre is only six pounds (GBP) on average. There is a city centre bus that also passes the street every 20min.
This is a family run, short-term, let property, run by my wife (Brenda) and I (Gary). We love to welcome new people to our short stay let, and we are always happy to share our local knowledge upon request. We pride ourselves on creating a place that is clean, cosy, comfortable and cost effective, for guests looking to visit Derry and the surrounding area's. Our aim is to provide a home-from -home feel and we sincerely hope that we can achieve this during your stay.
It is a 5minute walk to a local Templemore Sports complex / leisure centre /gym/swimming pool /running track and there are a selection of very nice restaurants within a 5 minute drive away. (I.e: Molly Mallones bar & restaurant; The Cosh bar and restaurant; Dalys Bar & Restaurant; Davincis Bar & Restaurant) and many local takeaways that provide delivery services. It is located close to the Buncrana road and is within very short driving distance to the Irish border. There is a local shop within walking distance for any necessities. Despite being around 5km from the city centre, its very easy to get around and transport is very accessible.
