Charlbury is a quiet, unspoilt 'hidden gem' with a growing reputation as a centre for walking. Neighbourbood description: Charlbury has lots of local amenities including a Co-op and Post Office which is open until 11 pm every day and has a cash machine. There are 4 pubs in the town and lots of fantastic pubs in the immediate countryside. Getting around: Charlbury is on the main train line from London Paddington. There are trains every hour. We are also opposite the bus stop directly from Oxford (s3) and there are local buses to Chipping Norton and to Witney. Charlbury is 1.5 hrs from London by car and 1 hr 10 mins from Birmingham. We are set in square just 7 miles from Witney, Chipping Norton, Woodstock and Burford. Lots of parking, easy for driving. The Cotswolds are stunning. The area is peaceful and yet you are walking distance from fantastic eating and drinks pubs as well as a short drive to world class destinations like Blenheim Palace, Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford Organic.
