A Little About Cotteswold House
For over 35 years, Cotteswold House has been a cherished guest house, welcoming visitors from near and far. In December 2024, we were thrilled to take over this beautiful property and proudly call the Cotswolds our new home.
We are currently renovating to enhance the house’s charm, leaning into the artistic spirit of the village while paying homage to the rich heritage of the surrounding area. Our goal is to create a bespoke experience that reflects the beauty and uniqueness of Bibury.
We can’t wait to welcome guests throughout the year and are looking forward to many wonderful conversations about their travels and adventures in the glorious Cotswolds.

Welcome to the Beautiful Village of Bibury
Nestled in the heart of the Gloucestershire Cotswolds along the tranquil River Coln, Bibury is a picture-perfect village just 9 miles from the charming market town of Burford.
Once described by William Morris as “the most beautiful village in the Cotswolds,” Bibury continues to enchant visitors with its timeless beauty and rich history.
The heart of the village is centred around a quaint square near St. Mary’s Church, a historic Saxon church with fascinating architectural details. Inside, you’ll find remarkable Saxon remains, with some replicas displayed locally while the originals are preserved in the British Museum.
One of Bibury’s main attractions overlooks a serene water meadow, offering visitors a glimpse into the natural beauty and charm that define this beloved Cotswolds destination.
Whether you’re here to soak in the history, explore the scenic countryside, or simply relax in this idyllic setting, Bibury promises an unforgettable experience.
