You’ll find inspiring things to see, do and enjoy from any direction at Bron Menai. Situated within its glorious grounds near Anglesey’s southern tip, it's just four miles from the stunning Newborough Beach and Nature Reserve with its fascinating history and rambling pine forest. In the opposite direction, the National Trust’s Plas Newydd House is nearby, with forested grounds home to a thriving red squirrel colony and beautiful rolling lawns that overlook the Menai Strait. The nearest hustle and bustle can be found in Menai Bridge, which is just 16 minutes away by car and is home to a plethora of shops, bars, restaurants and RibRide, the home of scenic (and high-octane) boat tours around the island. Alternatively, the surf town of Rhosneigr is just 25 minutes by car and is a must-visit for watersports enthusiasts, boasting its own array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Other very local attractions (accessible within minutes down quaint country lanes) include the Anglesey Sea Zoo, Halen Môn’s HQ and the Anglesey Riding Centre.
