We live in a pretty cottage in a quiet area of Cowes. We have parking, and secure area for bicycles. We are close to Cowes 9 hole golf club, and if you are a cyclist or walker are well placed for Round The Isle of Wight routes. Although a little out of Cowes it is a pleasant 20mins walk along the beach, or a quicker route through Northwood House. There are closer places for drinks and meals out. If you are a sailor we can assist you to the Marinas or the chain ferry. If you need picking up from the Red Jet ferry we can do this, complementary.
I and my husband Vic are both sailors and instructors so Cowes was simply the best place for us to move to from West London. I also enjoy walking and cycling and we can offer agreed support if you require this in your walking and cycling.
All places on the Isle of Wight are accessible by car in half an hour. If you arrive on foot, but not to cycle or walk, then the bus service for us to Newport is every 10mins, from Newport there is acceptability to the other attractions by a good bus service. You can purchase 24hr & 48hr passes. For us Cowes offers bars with a schedule of live music, high quality unique restaurants, and shopping.
