Melvich also has award-winning beaches. Beautiful walks. And scenery to die for. Thurso so is the nearest town about 40mins drive where you will find plenty of restaurants, bars, and a few shops. You can also commute to many of the famous attractions and catch a ferry across to the islands from Scrabster.
