Boasting fantastic food, wines chosen by an award-winning expert sommelier, and luxury rooms, this gastropub is located in the old market town of Romsey. Set in pretty gardens, The Cromwell Arms provides free Wi-Fi and free parking. Freshly prepared dishes made with local produce are served in the pub. Food ranges from classic, hearty British dishes to creative cuisine including pork tenderloin wrapped in Parma ham, or fillet of cod topped with Welsh rarebit. The wine list is thoughtfully picked to match the food, and wines of the week or month are available. Individually designed, each stylish room overlooks the countryside and includes an en suite bathroom. Guests can relax with a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee in the room. The River Test is just a short walk from The Cromwell Arms, and the natural beauty of New Forest National Park is only a 5-minute drive away. Southampton and its cruise terminals are 15 minutes’ drive from the gastropub, while Winchester and Salisbury are both a 20-minute drive.
