Dalvey House has been the home of the MacLeods since 1798. Situated on the Moray sunshine coast nestled in woodlands close to Speyside. the ground floor offers 2 public rooms a large dinning room and a games room. The two kitchens off all the equipment and space that you would need if hosting a family gathering. Our 9 bedrooms 4 en-suite, 3 other bathrooms and an extra WC on the bedroom landing are well appointed, spacious and offer flexible accommodation. All towels provided are of luxury quality and there are complimentary toiletries to see you through your stay.
Dalvey House sits within several acres of woodland, farmland and walking trails around the property. Plenty of space for alfresco dinning and to cosy up around the firepit.
Children can play and explore the surrounding area of the House. Outdoor activities are in abundance for children.
Dalvey Estate is a family owned business that has diversified some of its properties including the 4 star Dalvey House sleeping 18 often booked for weddings and now the four Dalvey Holiday Cottages into the holiday letting business. The Cottages within the policies of the Estate have been systematically renovated. East Lodge was the first cottage to become a Holiday let. It was such a success that Ploughmans cottage quickly followed. Mill Cottage and Abbotshill Farm House were soon after that. There is a team of people that take care of our guests while they are on holiday. All 5 holiday lets are within easy reach of each other ideal for larger gatherings. Forres is a charming town with a rich history and Grant park has a variety of annual events from The local Highland games, massed Piping Bands & the MacMoray a family friendly festival and not to be missed Bonfire night in November with spectacular Fireworks. A variety of local attractions & restaurants. Sueno's Stone (a gigantic Pictish Stone) and The Tolbooth can be found in the town. Here are some of the highlights: Brodie Castle, Brodie Country Fare & Logie Steading. The Kimberley Inn at Findhorn. There are many beaches which are ideal for families with Dolphin tours from various ports. The local Speyside Whisky Trail is very popular especially during the Speyside Whisky festival. Golf courses are located from Nairn to Aviemore & Lossiemouth. Other activities are fishing, cycling, hiking & canoeing.
