Deerdale Lodge is a beautiful two bedroom luxury log cabin, sleeping up to 4 people, set within its very own private and secluded grounds. The accommodation includes a private out-door hot-tub. The lodge and surroundings are perfectly suited for a romantic relaxing break, outdoor activity adventure or a family fun holiday. The Lodge is non-smoking accommodation. Well behaved dogs very welcome but please not on the furniture or in any of the bedrooms. Doggie towel & dish supplied. Additional cost applies for dogs. Eco-friendly log burner. Electric heating and hot water also available. Electricity is charged on a usage basis from the meter in the Lodge. It is read on arrival and departure and charged at 35 pence per unit. This means the charges are fairer than adding an average amount to stays, particularly as the electric car charger can use a considerable amount.

Our main aim is to make sure guests have a relaxing ,enjoyable stay. We are always available to offer support and help if required but also recognise the guests needs for privacy

Deerdale Lodge is situated within Sherwood Pines Forest. You can walk or cycle directly into the forest from the Lodge gates. Footpaths and cycle paths are abundant in the forest which has over 3000 acres of public space. The paths lead to several local cafes and pub restaurants within 1 to 4 miles. . There are also facilities such as paintball, quads and Go Ape within the forest. A few miles away is a karting and off-road experience centre. Local places of interest include the Sherwood Forest visitor centre with Major Oak, Thoresby Hall, Rufford Park, Newstead Abbey. Childrens parks within easy reach include Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park, White Post Farm and Sundown Adventure land. There are golf courses nearby.
