歴史ある学園都市オックスフォードからわずか20分、アビンドンからわずか10分の閑静でのどかな場所にある、19世紀の特徴的な建物を利用したホテルです。
Dog House Hotelはオックスフォードシャーの田園地帯の中心部にあり、オリジナルの梁天井の残る伝統的なバー、暖炉、パティオがあります。バー、レストラン、コンサバトリーで食事を楽しめます。
ホテルの名前にはユニークな由来があります。伝統的にオックスフォード大学の学生は馬を飼うことは許されたが、犬は禁止されていた。他のどこにも動物を飼う場所が無かったため、この地元インのオーナーは個人向けの犬のシッターサービスを始めた。やがてこの宿泊施設はDog Houseとして知られるようになった。
現在宿泊施設には20室の快適な客室があり、専用バスルーム、テレビ、紅茶/コーヒーメーカーが備わっています。

From November until January the hotel host Christmas parties with a disco until midnight, however there may be further noise whilst guests vacate the restaurant.
