The Donkey & Buskins is a grade 2 listed pub with a unique name.
Set in the village of Layer de la haye, which is within 1 mile of one Europe's top wetland sites Abberton reservoir.
We offer comfortable accommodation separate from the pub in a converted barn with its own private garden shared between 2 units. Overlooked by woodland.
Included in the price of your stay is, an in-room breakfast, consisting of a choice of cereals, fresh milk and fresh orange juice, yogurts and a piece of fresh fruit. There is a small fridge in the room for your convenance.
We serve excellent food all day
Lots of walks bird watching at Abberton Reservoir Mersea Island is about 6 miles
