Our household includes just the two of us; my husband and I, along with our two friendly cats, Luna and Bruno, who are calm and affectionate (and always happy to say hello if you’re a cat lover!). For your privacy and peace of mind, each guest is provided with keys to their private room, and although you may be sharing the home with one or two other respectful guests, your space remains completely your own. Hi! I’m originally from Brazil and have been living in beautiful Scotland since 2005. I currently work for the UK Government, a position I’ve held since 2021. Before that, I spent over 15 years working in the hospitality industry; an experience that sparked my love for meeting people and creating welcoming spaces. Although my career path has changed, hospitality remains a true passion, and hosting guests in our home allows me to continue doing what I enjoy most: making people feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease. Welcome to our lovely corner of Edinburgh! 🏡 Our neighbourhood is family-oriented and friendly, with a nice mix of calm and energy. We are just beside a busy road, so you might hear a bit of life going by—buses, cars, and the occasional motorbike showing off. But inside the house, it’s still a cosy and comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. During the day, especially in summer, our little community gets a bit more lively thanks to the neighbourhood kids; our sweet little angels (most of the time!). They're often out playing, laughing, and bringing joy to the street. They're usually very well-behaved… but as we all know, kids can be full of surprises! Even with all that, nights tend to be quiet and peaceful. Many guests have commented on how well they sleep here. You can come home late at night without a worry; Edinburgh is generally a very safe city, and I’m proud to say our area is no exception. If you're looking for a safe, welcoming place with a bit of personality, you'll feel right at home here.
