Positioned in the centre of the stunning North Yorkshire Market Town of Easingwold, Dovecote House is a stunning, exquisitely furnished town house. The focal point is the impressive kitchen dining room which is a real statement and wonderful social area to gather and catch upon the day’s adventures. With meticulous attention to detail, owner Laura has personally overseen the impeccable renovations, resulting in a premium finish throughout!

Neighbourhood information

Easingwold is a vibrant North Yorkshire Market town lying 13 miles north of the historical cathedral city of York. With a beautiful selection of local shops, cafes, public houses and a theatre, sports centre and a weekly local market. There is also a large play park, lots of lovely walks and good bus links to York, Thirsk and even to the North Yorkshire coast. With a good selection of independent coffee houses and eating establishments you won’t be stuck for places to indulge! The weekly local market is held in the marketplace every Friday and an artisan market takes place monthly. The town is also renowned for holding lively band events and music festivals. The town also has a well-stocked library and The Galtres Centre offer regular plays/musicals and community events. Lying just 13 miles north of the City of York, you are also perfectly placed to head into the city to experience the culture of the Minster, galleries and the ancient City Walls. Or if your passion is food, you will find many excellent independent bars and restaurants to discover! York is a city brimming with history and culture. Take a walk along the castle walls and head to York Minster for some truly jaw dropping architecture, followed by a wander around the historical cobbled streets and many independent shops and boutiques. Further afield you will discover Whitby on the East Coast, Goathland and Pickering in the North York Moors National Park. Masham, Ripon and Harrogate are to the west heading towards the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
