Tucked away in the beautiful Moray countryside, East Grange Hideaways at The Loft is the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of the great outdoors. Our Cabins offer a back-to-basics style of glamping, with cosy wooden pods that give you all the fun of camping but with a little extra comfort.
We’re lucky to be in a fantastic location! Just a short drive from some of Scotland’s most stunning sandy beaches, charming coastal villages and the world-famous Malt Whisky Trail. From dolphin spotting on the Moray Firth, to walking through ancient woodlands, to exploring castles and distilleries, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy.
We’re based on our family farm, where we grow barley for the whisky industry and keep sheep. Staying here gives you a real sense of country living, surrounded by fresh air, open skies and the peaceful sounds of nature.
Our cabins are simple but welcoming. Guests share a communal area called The Bothy, which has showers, toilets and kitchen facilities - perfect for those who like a touch of community alongside their own space. Whether you’re here for a romantic break, a peaceful retreat, or a few nights under the stars with friends, it’s all about enjoying the outdoors and making memories.
At The Loft, we believe glamping should be fun, friendly, and stress-free. Wake up to birdsong, spend your days exploring and in the evenings, watch the sun set over the fields before retreating to your cosy cabin and sitting round the campfire.
The Loft is run by Victoria and Grigor, who live and work on the farm with their family. They love sharing their little corner of Moray with visitors, whether that’s pointing you towards a favourite whisky distillery, recommending the best sandy beach nearby, or simply making sure you have everything you need for a relaxed stay.
Life on the farm is always busy, and guests often enjoy meeting some of the friendly animals along the way. You might see the sheep grazing in the fields, say hello to the cheeky goats, or if you’re lucky, spot the Highland cows.
Our aim is simple: to give every guest a warm welcome and a comfortable base to enjoy the countryside, explore the coast and make happy memories.
We're perfectly placed for exploring Moray Speyside, one of Scotland’s most beautiful and varied regions. Guests love the mix of sandy beaches, rugged coastline, and rolling countryside, with ancient woodlands and hills right on the doorstep. The nearby town of Forres offers history and culture with landmarks like Sueno’s Stone, Nelson’s Tower, and the Falconer Museum, while just along the coast the village of Findhorn is a firm favourite with visitors. Famous for its wide sandy bay, sailing, dolphin spotting and welcoming pubs and cafés, Findhorn is often the highlight of a stay.
The wider area is home to castles, whisky distilleries on the world-famous Malt Whisky Trail, and charming fishing villages dotted along the Moray Firth. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy forest walks, cycling routes, golf courses, and wildlife watching, while food and drink lovers will find excellent restaurants, traditional pubs, and artisan producers to discover. Highlights within easy reach include Roseisle Beach, Elgin Cathedral, and the dramatic ruins of Duffus Castle. From beaches and wildlife to heritage and whisky, the area has something for everyone to enjoy.
