An elegant and spacious 2 double bed, 2 bathroom garden flat in an iconic row of Regency period buildings opposite Blackheath Common and very near to Greenwich Park. Just a ten minute walk along the heath to the bars, restaurants, cafes and boutiques of Blackheath Village and also only a few minutes walk to the Blackheath Royal Standard shops. Renovated to a high standard with features including private entrance, underfloor heating, Miele kitchen, private patio, separate dining and large lounge with sofabeds, AV wall and workspace. Offstreet parking on request. In addition to a double bed in each of the two bedrooms, the two sofabeds in the large 20 foot (6.1m) living room both fold out to double beds. Single sleeping is possible also on the L-shaped settee. A complimentary package of essentials such as coffee, tea, milk, bread, eggs, butter, cereals and mineral water is provided to get your stay off to an easy start. Other basics such as condiments, oil and seasonings and a few canned goods are also kept in the cupboards for those wanting to make use of the excellent cooking facilities (comprising double Miele oven, induction cooktop, microwave and toaster), and there is an M&S Food Hall just around the corner at Blackheath Royal Standard for additional grocery shopping. **Please note that at this time the bathtub in the ensuite bathroom is out of commission for reconfiguration. The ensuite basin and toilet are operating as normal. The large glass canopied bath shower unit in the main bathroom is operating as normal. This "One-and-a-half Bathroom" status during this period is reflected in reduced rates**
We live in a neighbouring property so are generally at hand to help if needed, but are happy to provide guests with the privacy and quiet for an enjoyable stay in Blackheath, one of London's true hidden gems.
South facing and directly overlooking the northside of the vast greenspace of Blackheath Common, the property is also in a perfect central location within easy walking distance of picturesque Blackheath Village (8 minutes), the beautiful Greenwich Park (7 minutes), the Greenwich Royal Observatory (10 minutes), Royal Blackheath Standard shops inc M&S Food (3 minutes) and the Cutty Sark in historic Greenwich (20 minutes). Between Blackheath Village, Greenwich and Blackheath Royal Standard, there is a vast choice of restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs as well as chic boutiques. The O2 arena at North Greenwich is a short 15 minute bus ride from virtually outside the property. Located a few hundred yards from the A12-A2 interchange, there is also fast and easy uninterrupted road access east to the M25 and Bluewater Shopping Centre in only 15 minutes, and easy transit north of the Thames via the nearby Blackwall tunnel, including Canary Wharf as well as motorways onward north. Transport links are outstanding, with rail to Central London in just 12 minutes from Blackheath Village, with the tube network also at your fingertips from North Greenwich.
