With wonderful views over Lake Eltermere, Eltermere Inn is in the heart of the Langdale Valley. The historic country house has luxury rooms, a creative restaurant and a cosy bar with free Wi-Fi. The elegant bedrooms are individually decorated, and many have scenic views of the surrounding fells. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and a designer bathroom with quality toiletries. The restaurant serves a modern European menu using locally sourced produce and fresh ingredients. Guests can enjoy traditional afternoon teas on the terrace, or relax by the log fire in the bar. Just 2 miles from Grasmere, Eltermere is a 10-minute drive from Ambleside and the shores of Lake Windermere. Beautiful walks begin just a few metres away, and free parking is available.
