Emma Dent cottage forms part of the Sudeley Castle Cottage complex, which is just a short walk from the centre of Winchcombe. Everything you need is on the doorstep and with Winchcombe being a ‘walker’s welcome’ town, there is much to explore on foot. On the ground floor, you’ll find an open-plan dining and well-appointed kitchen area, with a door to the courtyard. The living area is a light, bright and airy space with plenty of seating and French doors to the courtyard. There is also a useful ground floor cloakroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The private courtyard behind the cottage has seating for alfresco dining and a charcoal barbecue. The cottage complex benefits from large car parking with plenty of spaces. Guests staying at Emma Dent Cottage enjoy complimentary (other than separately ticketed events) day-time entrance to Sudeley Castle & Gardens during the open season. Winchcombe is an elegant and timeless Cotswold town. Venture down the narrow side streets to find a mix of Cotswold stone cottages and black and white half-timbered buildings. The town is a famous centre for walkers, yet also boasts a number of traditional pubs and delicious cafes, galleries, boutique clothing, interior design and antique shops to browse. During your stay at Sudeley Castle Country Cottages you are entitled to free admission to Sudeley Castle and Gardens during the Castle’s open season (except for separately ticketed events). If you wish to visit the Castle and gardens during your stay, please take your room key or booking receipt with you to the admissions desk.
