    The location is convenient, just off the motorway. It was such a quiet street yet just few streets away there were loads of shops and bars and cafes. The decor of the flat is beautifully done and all the facilities were to an excellent standard.

Enjoy a comfortable and peaceful stay at this centrally-located traditional apt. Close to the SECC (15 mins) , Glasgow airport (20 mins) and the city centre ( 10 mins) , in a quiet neighbourhood , our apartment has been tastefully decorated to reflect style and comfort . We live in the property below so will be on hand most of the time. Dependant on our availability we may be able to offer airport pick up. The property also has a sofa bed in the living room , providing two sleeping areas.
I am a Canadian , married to a Brazilian and we live in Scotland. I run my own business promoting Latin Culture in Scotland and Eliseu is a restaurant manager. We love photography, art and design, seeing the world and meeting people from other cultures. We are a very easy going couple. We live in the property below so will be on hand most of the time . Guests may use our washing machine and dryer if required too. If we aren’t busy or working we are happy to offer airport pick up/ drop off as we know how nice it is to get to your accommodation quickly and hassle free upon arrival in a new city.
Rutherglen was granted its charter in 1126, only two years after David I ascended to the throne of Scotland, making it one of Scotland's oldest Royal Burghs. In the 1900s, Arthur Stanley Jefferson (who would be known to the world some years later as Stan Laurel) was a pupil at Rutherglen Academy (now Stonelaw High) when his father was in charge of a local theatre. Overtoun park is only two blocks away and is a delightful space with garden art installations , community herb gardens , a Victorian water fountain and bandstand . The park is ideal for a morning run or walk and many outdoor fitness classes are held here also . There is free parking in front of the building . The bus stop is behind the apartment and the train station with a direct line to the city centre and COP26 site is only a five minute walk away . Easy access to the M74 and M8 motorways .
