I've been a guest of short term lets for many years now and now hosting my own second home occasionally. I flit between Hong Kong and the UK and when I'm in the UK, this is my home. When I'm not here, I hope you enjoy staying here.

Property information

Our home is In the lush village of Oakhill on the edge of the Mendip Hills with easy access to Wells and Bath. Our street is safe and quiet, a few minutes; walk to the local village pub. We have off street parking at the front and a small grass patio garden at the rear. A perfect base to explore the beauty of Somerset with easy access to Bath, Wells, Glastonbury A quiet village location near: Mendip Hills, Wells, Frome, Bruton, Bath, Bristol, Cheddar, Glastonbury and Longleat.

Neighbourhood information

Oakhill is a quiet and friendly village with a wonderful gastro-pub and not much else! It's an excellent base for visits to the Mendips, Wells, Frome, Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bath, Longleat, Bristol and more. Local markets include Wells on Wednesdays and Saturdays & the creative Frome Independent market (1st Sunday of the month). Easy access to Taunton and Weston-super-Mare and the Jurassic coast. Nearest airport is Bristol - just 30 minutes; drive. Bath is a 25 mins drive away with trains to London. Castle Cary is a little closer (about 15 minutes; drive), also with trains to London.
