The Ferry Inn offers 30 rooms spread across four buildings in Stromness, and is located 6 miles from the UNESCO Neolithic Heart of Orkney. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar, which is recognised in the Good Beer Guide and winner of the CAMRA Nothern Isles Pub of the Year. All rooms across the four buildings have free WiFi, TVs, tea/coffee facilities, and most rooms have en-suite facilities. The Ferry Inn has a restaurant with a pub and an a la carte menu that uses fresh local produce. Guests can enjoy a cooked breakfast at the property. The property is situated opposite the Stromness ferry terminal, which can take guests to the nearby islands of Hoy and Graemsay.

Guests should be aware before booking that the rooms are spread across multiple buildings that are all served by the Ferry Inn reception, restaurant and bar. The Harbourside House and Miller's House annexes are just a few steps across the narrow street from the main Ferry Inn building.
