Property information

This beautiful stone cottage is a peaceful rural idyll. It sits surrounded by stunning countryside yet the charms of Cirencester, are just 5 miles away. Field View lives up to its name with wonderful views over the surrounding fields and farmland. Set over 3 floors this terraced cottage offers oodles of character with original beams and exposed stone walls throughout, there are 3 bedrooms, a cosy living room with a wood burner and a stylish kitchen and dining area. A large private garden is opposite, the property accepts 2 dogs and there are wonderful footpath walks right from the doorstep. The ground floor comprises a stylish kitchen, which is open-plan to the dining area and guests relaxing in the comfy living room are still connected to everyone through the wide-open doorway. Upstairs is no less enchanting with a lovely double bedroom, cute single and a gorgeous master bedroom encompassing the top of the house. Book with us to get exclusive discounts to top attractions and experiences. Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. 2 well-behaved dog/s are welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog/s and you will be sent a request for the additional fee.

Neighbourhood information

There is some excellent walking nearby, with the Monarch’s Way and Macmillan Way just moments from the front door. The ancient market town of Cirencester with a fabulous range of shops and places to eat is just under 5 miles away and numerous attractions such as Highgrove House, Westonbirt Arboretum, and the Bathurst Estate are also within an easy drive. In addition, there are some wonderful local pubs such as The Bell at Sapperton and the Crown Inn at Frampton Mansell within a 10-minute drive. Cirencester is close by with a wide range of independent shops and boutiques. There is a farmers’ market on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, Jesse Smith is an excellent local butcher, and you’ll find a couple of superb bakeries too. A visit to the Jolly Good Farm Shop (3.4 miles) is also highly recommended. For a more substantial food shop, there is a Waitrose (4.9 miles), Lidl (5.6 miles) and Tesco (6.3 miles) from Field View.
