The Frankaborough Barton and Lodge are hosting by Katie and Richard Beazley. They are set within the families farmland and with long reaching countryside views, you are in a private, peaceful location.
These are no ordinary holiday homes – the interior designed decor, furniture and fixings are of the highest quality for you to enjoy during your stay.
Both of our properties are Set on a 375 acre working farm in a beautiful quiet rural location close to the Devon/Cornwall border, where Mrs. Linda Banbury will welcome you to visit the farm.
You can meet the traditional farmers milking the Holstein Friesian dairy cows twice a day and they will have great delight showing you the calves being fed, cows milked and the beef cattle roaming the fields. You are welcome to join in with every day life on the farm. There is always much to see and plenty going on.
The local area is renowned for its natural beauty, with countryside a million shades of green and rolling hills. Just north between the magnificence of Dartmoor National Park and Bodmin Moor, with endless walks, breathtaking views and swathed in ancient history, while the vibrant market and stannery town of Tavistock is...

LOG CABIN
When you stay in this luxurious log cabin in Devon, you can feel transported to a wooden cabin in the mountains of Canada or Nevada. Frankaborough Lodge is a unique holiday home that took over a year to be built by talented craftsmen. Sustainably sourced Douglas Fir logs travelled the long journey from Scotland to the Devonshire countryside. With many of the logs 24 inches in diameter, there were many challenges along the way, but the end result is something magical.

From the A30 dual carriageway take the exit sign for Broadwoodwidger, Stowford, and Bratton Clovelly. Turn north over the A30 and continue for approx. 5 miles until you come to a T junction. (Broadwoodwidger CP School and phone box on your left). Turn left, then take the second left at Dubbs Cross (a small hamlet plus a phone box), signposted to Lifton and Cross Green. Drive 1 mile and we are the first lane on the left. Take this lane and you will See Frankaborough Barton after a short distance just as you round the corner on your right.
