The 2000 acre Estate is located just 30 minutes from Glasgow at a mid-point between Kilmarnock and the coastal towns of Troon , Prestwick & Ayr. Around the Estate, we run two dairy farms so you'll see lots of friendly and inquisitive Jersey cows. We also have 5 tenant farmers who have Ayrshire, Fresian as well as Holsteins. Through the winter, we over-winter about 1000 sheep and run a traditional shoot although none of the drives are near the holiday properties. We have several acres of well-known gardens planted by the Findlay family over a hundred years ago and weeded by the incumbent Findlays today. This is not a resort. It's a friendly and wholesome place to enjoy a good walk, good company and have some fun with family and friends.

Micky and I (Adrienne) live in the main house. We have our own areas of the house so not to impinge if you are booking the main house. We can also move out if necessary. Micky, grew up at Carnell and his family have lived here for several hundred years. He calls himself a "farmer".

It's the country! We're 5 miles from the local late night store. It's quiet, clean and green!
