Property information

This newly refurbished terrace house, in a residential cul-de-sac. The front door opens in to a small hall with a downstairs loo. The open plan sitting dining room is light and accesses the galley kitchen. Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The beds are comfy, the shower is whooshy, there’s even a corkscrew in the drawer. With on street parking, this is perfect for a few weeks to tide you over or a lovely spot for a break.

Guildford is a bustling market town, and a chunky jewel in Surrey’s already burgeoning crown. Just 40 minutes south-east of London Waterloo, Guildford is a quintessential English town boasting a picturesque high street complete with cobbles and a castle. London Waterloo station can be reached under 40 minutes by train or about 30 minutes by car. Heathrow Airport is just 22 miles away via the A3 and M25, and you can reach Gatwick airport in less than an hour via the M25. Pick from the two train stations, Guildford Railway Station is the largest and a short walk from the town centre, with regular hourly trains clickity clacking to London Waterloo and London Victoria, and services to Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire. Guildford’s second station, London Road, is half a mile from the town centre and offers stopping services only between Guildford and Waterloo via either Cobham & Stoke or Epsom. It is situated in a valley amid the North Downs on the banks of the River Wey, which wends its way through the town, and eventually links to the Basingstoke Canal.
